Refrigerant for Air Conditioning
R134a
R134a is a commonly used refrigerant in a wide range of medium and high-temperature refrigeration and air conditioning applications.
R134a is a common component in many HFC refrigerant blends and is used in some propellant applications.
Characteristics
• R134a is suitable for use in new equipment and can be used as a retrofit in some R12 and R22 applications with an oil change

Safety Class: on-flammable, R134a is miscible with synthetic oil or lubricant and is compatible with PAG-Auto and POE oil.
Refrigerant for Air Conditioning
R410A
R410A is a non-flammable HFC blend refrigerant, developed for use in air conditioning equipment, specifically designed for R410A.R410A is not suitable for retrofitting due to higher operating pressures.
Characteristics
• R410A is not suitable for retrofitting due to the higher operating pressures
• Charging must be done in the liquid phase
• Systems designed for R410A can take advantage of its ability to use smaller components
• Low glide makes R410A suitable for some centrifugal compressors and it can operate in low temperature applications.

Refrigerant for Air Conditioning
R407C
R407C is a non-flammable HFC blend refrigerant developed for use in air conditioning systems. Suitable for residential and direct expansion air conditioning systems.
R407C is suitable for medium temperature refrigeration equipment. R407C was used to replace R22 by many equipment manufacturers.
Characteristics
• R407C is a replacement refrigerant for R22
• Designed to have similar properties to R22 in air conditioning systems
• R407C can be used in many commercial systems as a retrofit option providing systems are modified to POE
• Alternatives include R407A and R407F
